” Thanks for being such little stars and spoiling us with little treats each day. You’ve given me the kickstart I need to continue doing this back home.” Rachel, UK April 2013
“All in all, Feel Great Breaks was much more than I expected. It gives you a lot considering the money you pay for it. But what surprised me most, was the level of mental and spiritual connection, friendship and love we, total strangers, could feel together in just few days. Even me, as a foreigner, not too fluent English speaker. That combined with the physical training and healthy and tasty eating with wine made us feel very relaxed and happy on our way home. And that´s why I think, after more than 70 holidays abroad, this was the best so far” Paula, Norway. March 2013
“Tack for er vanlighet och for att ni tagit val hand om oss! Tack for den kunskap och inspiration ni formedlar och tankar som vi fatt lyckatill med ert foretag och tack for att ni finns” Ingrid, Sweden. April 2013

“Wow I feel like a new person. What a refreshing type of holiday- I cant recommend Feel Great Breaks enough. Very personalised attention in not only the yoga but in every single detail…beautiful little gifts delivered by yogi fairies every morning along with lemon and hot water. Flush it all out! Lovely accommodation, incredibly relaxing environment in which to regenerate. Both Nikki and Jess are wonderful hostesses. I felt like part of a real yoga family while here. Nothing was too much trouble, I was particularly tickled that Nikki helped me with some poses I’d been trying (and failing). Felt rewarding to have made some progress. What more can I say? I think I’m returning to my two children a more calm (and hopefully better) mother. Thank you. Namaste” Kate, UK. July 2012

“I’ve had a fantastic holiday with Feel Great Breaks. The yoga, treatments, activities, hotel and surroundings have all been excellent. The program has been varied and I liked that I could choose to do as much or as little as I wanted each day. Nikki and Jess are very welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure everyone had an amazing time. I leave feeling relaxed satisfied with inspirations for my yoga practice.” Lena, UK. March 2012
“Thank you for a wonderful experience over the last 5 days. I came here to rebalance, relax and improve my yoga practice. This I’ve done. The yoga coaching has been exceptional. I’ve got into positions that I never thought I could. I’ve got some simple tips that will help me for the rest of my yoga practice. The setting has been serene. Les Rotes, its beautiful pool and facilities, and proximity to the beach is too perfect. What I didn’t expect, but which has topped everything off, is the personalised experience, the gifts every morning served with tea and the tips and tricks to improve life generally. What an experience! I can thank you both enough! “ Lizzy, UK. June 2012

Thanks for sharing the recipes. Stunning location – couldnt have ordered more beautiful, restful surroundings.” Lucy, England. February 2012

The Font Salada Hotel setting is a dream and perfect for this type of holiday – I love it! It was perfect – hard to beat.” Bunty, Denia. April 2012
“Jess and Nikki go above and beyond the usual service you would receive from a yoga holiday. Feel Great Breaks is the essential trip to re-charge your batteries.” Kelly, UK. March 2012
Caroline’s story
“In October 2012, feeling stressed, rundown and generally downright miserable and discontented I bit the bullet and booked myself on a retreat with FEEL GREAT BREAKS in Denia, Spain. I turned up feeling nervous and unsure about how the 5 days would pan out. I left feeling like a new person, re-engaged with life and filled with joy: which it turns out when hanging out with Nikki and Jess of Feel Great Breaks is a contagious disease! This retreat is unique (and I have been on other retreats). The yoga is first class, with Nikki teaching with such warmth and joy you cannot help but improve your practice. But the yoga in many ways is the tip of the iceberg. Nikki and Jess work with a number of other people in the Denia area who are experts in life coaching, therapies (massage etc), reiki to name but a few. You can opt in or out as you chose, I opted in. Having the chance to practice yoga alongside these therapies/discussions was so enriching and invaluable. I laughed and I cried and all those issues that had been bothering me either melted away or I was given the tools to be able to ensure that I could focus on leading a happy and joyful path in life regardless of what stress may be encountered on that road. Basically, all that white noise that we all hear every day just disappeared. Our “seeds and weeds” ceremony on our last evening was so beautiful, we “planted” our dreams and intentions for the future and “buried” those negative patterns we get so used to: literally the “weeds” went up in flames. What else is there, well I cannot leave this story without mentioning the fabulous tasty and healthy food that Jess makes for the afternoon snack every day. There are literally no words to describe how amazing it is! The location of the retreat is fabulous. The hotel is very comfortable with a great pool and restaurant and the local area is really nice to explore on bike (or running along the coastline as I did). The weather is great too – shorts and t-shirts at the end of October – nice! Nikki and Jess are now firm friends and I am so thankful that I did bite the bullet and book that retreat. It remains one of the best things I have ever done and truly has changed my life. As Nikki and Jess say “live, laugh and love”!
Mary’s Story
I’m just back from a yoga feel great break in Spain; a gift to mark a significant birthday. Although deeply touched, I was deeply sceptical of this new age but ancient mumbo jumbo and curmudgeonly leaving grey Manchester with other Brits off to Alicante and the orange blossom coast. Hotel transfer was by minibus driven by Steve, an expat Glaswegian needing a second wage because recession is biting his business. But there’s no way he would return to Britain now with his daughter partway through her education and already gaining a reputation as a dancer. His words lapped gently. The road was smooth. Late afternoon sun danced on the blue Mediterranean and played over dramatic hills studded with orange trees. He handed me my small suitcase in front of the hotel, letting his eyes wander over the imposing terra cotta facade, ‘There’s a few bars and restaurants along the promenade you know,’ as if he suspected boot-camp. How wrong our suspicions were. The hotel sat in a paradise of mimosas, bougainvillea, oleander and fronded palms, wafting bright orange bracts overhead like a dare to check they were real. My room overlooked the pool and the sea beyond. Floodlighting revealed wooden walkways and landscaped gardens. In the lobby of polished wood and warm tiles heated from beneath a young woman with a dazzling smile invited me to join the other guest in the bar when I was ready. We were an intimate group (a glamorous French translator, an Indian lawyer, a writer) because there had been last minute cancellations. ‘It happens,’ our hosts said, philosophically yogic. The conversation sparkled as we ate our vegetarian meal late into the Spanish night. Awakened with fresh lemon and ginger infusion, a thought for the day and another radiant smile at 7.45. Optional meditation at 8.00 followed by a couple of hours yoga in a private flower garden facing the rising sun. A hearty continental buffet of fruit, cheese, eggs, meat and pastries was also taken outside and we mulled over the meditative yoga that left no one dissatisfied or with any aches. And so the days passed with options of pampering, guided walks, bike rides, four by four trips or free time before our next snack of energy burst juices, vegetarian dips and rather delicious cakes of almonds and carrots and more yoga. With hugs and smiles we began to feel like family. Other guests at the hotel may have wondered at the giggling and incense floating from our yoga room. No thought of the outside world till the final day and those bars along the seafront that we had not missed finally beckoned while we waited for the minibus to connect with flights. A waiter threw the day’s bread into the crystal depths beneath the overhanging balcony for the fish that came in shoals and made the sea writhe with their sleek bodies. Time to reflect on the journey home, meditate, trust long unused muscles and dream of a fitter, calmer future. Steve no longer drove the minibus: laid off for the winter, our Spanish driver explained.”
